I love the combination of melon and burrata cheese. It is so simple and perfect appetizer for chilled rose wine.
It is important to chill a melon before serving once melon is ripe enough.
Melon and Burrata
Servings 2 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cantaloupe melon, small
- White wine vinegar
- Mint leaves
- Basil leaves
- 1 burrata cheese
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Cut a melon into bite size. Arrange melon on serving plate. Drizzle small amount of white wine vinegar. Sprinkle mint, basil, and salt. Place burrata cheese on top; cut to open burrata cheese. Sprinkle salt and black pepper on burrata cheese. Drizzle generous amount of olive oil.
